Yesterday I went to "Kaga Mizuhiki" lesson.
It was difficult for me, but Ms.Nagata teacher taught us very gently.
The work was cute and I want to try again !!

There is a dormer window in our Ryokan.
It is an open ceiling space so that you can see the window from down stairs.
The house roof is being sustained by the thick pine tree beams.
The beams are used vented tree intentionally , because it is better to hold the heavy snow on the roof in winter time.

Kanazawa has been very hot and humid these days.
You will see the people who are trying to find a sunshade.
Ohmicho Market has installed annual ice pillar in the market place so that people can feel cool with touching it.
Market customers seems very happy to touch it!

I would like to tell you about myself.
I am originally from Osaka. This is my 6th year since I came to Kanazawa.
My first impression on Kanazawa was not so great, because it was always raining, damp weather and lots of thunders.
However, I am somehow getting used to it. Now I don’t even like the dry weather of Osaka.

Although I was shocked when I got my shoes moldy in the shoe locker, now I enjoy a life in Kanazawa.
“Home is home though it never be so homely”. Now I enjoy walking around in Castle Park and Kenrokuen garden where you can see a lot of green trees.
Also I love clean air, water and local foods such as rice and fishes in Kanazawa.
