Kanazawa Hyakumangoku Festival
Kanazawa city will hold Hyakumangoku Festival from June 5th to June 7th.
Various events such as Parade, Tea ceremonies and Odori-nagashi (parade of Japanese dance) will be held day-and-night in the city.
Besides those parades, we recommend that the mysterious Kaga Yuzen Toro Nagashi (the floating of lanterns lit with candles and decorated with Kaga Yuzen silk textiles), start at 7pm near the Asanogawa Ohashi Bridge.

Mt.Oku-Utatsuyama
The other day, I went on picnic to Mt. Oku-Utatsuyama Park (2 km from the Kenrokuen Garden) with my husband and kid.
The park was well looked after and beautiful roses and irises has just blossomed out.
We could enjoy panoramic views of Kanazawa city from there as well.
It was so nice!
